Mission Statement We, the St. John the Baptist Community of Dry Ridge, serve our members and the wider community. We gather and share Christ's sacramental life, and evangelize to form disciples in the Lord. We minister and serve people of all ages and states of life in the Lord's name.
All this we do in the spirit of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served but to serve and to give his life that all might have life in all its fullness (John 10:10).

150th Parish Anniversary News!!! St. John's will be celebrating its 150th parish anniversary in 2010. The anniversary planning committee has been hard work preparing for this historical year. A newsletter is being produced each month to keep the parish community updated on plans and upcoming events.

Engrave Brick & Bench Program In honor of the upcoming 150th Parish Anniversary in 2010, engraved bricks and benches are once again being offered. Bricks and benches purchased this year will be used to form a new brick/bench area directly across from the front doors of church to replace the white rocks that are currently there.

Festival News - Blue Jay Reverse Raffle Tickets are now on sale for this year's $20,000 Blue Jay Reverse Raffle. The drawing will be taking place at the Festival on August 16. Three Early Bird Drawings of $1000 each will also be taking place on May 31, 2009, June 30, 2009, and July 31, 2009.

New St. John's Ministry Webpage!!! Click here to visit the new webpage dedicated to the many ministries at St. John's. A special thank you to parishioner, Natalie Bollin, for building this new website. Thank you, Natalie.
Annual Fund Drive - Campaign to Reduce the Debt Funds raised through the Annual Fund Drive this year (2008/2009) and next year (2009/2010) will be used to help pay down our debt to the Archdiocese. The debt stems from the building of the new church and school addition in the 1990s. Currently, our total debt stands at $2.7 million.

Parish Census Update We are currently conducting a parish-wide census to update our database records. It has been almost ten years since the last parish census was taken.
