Mission Statement

We, the St. John the Baptist Community of Dry Ridge, serve our members and the wider community. We gather and share Christ's sacramental life, and evangelize to form disciples in the Lord. We minister and serve people of all ages and states of life in the Lord's name.

All this we do in the spirit of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served but to serve and to give his life that all might have life in all its fullness.

(John 10:10)

Don't forget the Fish Fry every Friday during Lent -- 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Church Undercroft.

All are invited to attend this year's Town Hall Meeting. In addition to a "state-of-the-parish" presentation, a small-group break-out session will take place where participants will be invited to respond to three questions:

1) What most impresses you about St. John's Parish?

2) What are the areas of the parish that you feel need the most improvement?

3) As you look to the future, what would you like to see happen over the next 1 to 3 to 5 years and beyond?

Please join us for this this important meeting as parish leaders continue to plan for the future and work to identify ways to better serve the parish community. For more information or for questions, contact Laurie Lewis, Pastoral Council Chair, at 245-1970.
